Nearly Impossible Ruin

A few years ago our friend Kelsey introduced us to Narrow Canyon, one of the prettiest places on earth. On our hike we saw this amazing ruin across the canyon, and since that time I have really wanted to see that ruin up close and personal. The Whites came to visit, and since they are our official adventure partners we had to go on an adventure.  So with no trail, 4 kids and some people much stronger and daring than us we made the trek. The ruin did not disappoint, it was huge- and just as hard to get to as it looked from the other side. We did make it with only one mishap of Spencer getting caught in a ravine, and Devon stayed at the bottom of the final climb up the side of the mountain with the little girls. It was amazing, but a little more dangerous than I usually sign up for with kids, so maybe a once in a lifetime experience.
Absolutely beautiful canyon, even in the winter.
Do you see it tucked up there?

We found a lot of pottery

The whole crew- except Elder White who is taking the picture.
Kelsey and Tanin scaled a rock wall to make it inside the main part of the ruin.
So many colors of pottery!
