Albuquerque Aquarium

These are a long time coming, but we went to Albuquerque over the President's Day weekend. We went to the aquarium again. It was funny because this time instead of being entranced, Spencer just wanted to run and see more and more fish, we went through a few times at a faster speed.

Librarian

So I am officially a librarian, well at least a para-professional that works in the library. They did away with the bookmobile in our county because of lack of funds. To make up for it a little they are opening the high school library after school hours to the community. So I am going to be the librarian those hours. I also get to order kids books because there are not any in the library. I am excited, it should be a good learning experience.

Duck, duck, goose

Devon had a great time playing with the boys. They played monster, steam roller, lava and finally Duck, Duck, Goose.

Silly Boys

Spencer can make James laugh faster than anyone else. I love to see them play and laugh together!

It was so funny when i showed Spencer this video James was on my lap, and he kept looking at Spencer like "Who is saying bugga-bugga? It sounds like you, but you're not talking."

Super Spencer

Spencer has been very into super-heroes lately. He is always running around saying "Save the day!" He is usually Super-Spencer or Spiderman. I get to be Captin America or Hulk most of the time. He has only seen most of these super-heroes on a calendar that Devon got last year and on movie covers, but he still loves them. We tell Spencer that if he eats good food he will get strong like a super-hero. Here he is showing off his muscles.

Devon's birthday

Devon's birthday was yesterday, but we are spreading his celebration out over 3 days. We had cake on Sunday night with some friends. Spencer was very excited about the candles, and the cake.

The Whitakers gave Devon a "sock full of nickles" (like on The Office).

We opened presents last night. Spencer was pretty excited about those too.

I found some pickled okra in Texas at Christmas- Devon and Spencer think it is great!

Spencer really wanted to get Daddy some "superheroes" for his birthday. They had a fun time playing with them last night

The power was out for more than 6 hours yesterday, so I didn't get to make birthday dinner. We are going to do that tonight. I guess it's fun to stretch things out sometimes.
